The Real Deal;

About Me:

  • I began my fitness journey in early 2013.

    Late in 2012, I truly had a wake up call to how detrimental, and ultimately dangerous, my lifestyle had become. Both physically and mentally.

    That winter, I discovered CrossFit by means of a classmates presentation. Sitting at 4’9, size 18, and 235lbs, I was in awe of the fit women and the intensity of their pursuit of fitness. Something spoke to me in this discovery and the thought that I could someday be “that girl” came up in a whisper. Barely there, but there nonetheless.

    I jumped in head first. Paid for 3 months in advance for unlimited classes per week at my local crossfit gym. I developed basic skills in an entry level class offered, then progressed & scaled up over time.

  • My personal fitness journey has included the training focuses of Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding (both as a lifestyle and competitively), group strength & conditioning, and home fitness training.

    I have utilized tools and approaches such as flexible dieting (also known as “if it fits your macros), intermittent fasting, bulk & cut phases, to lead me to where I am today.

    I myself never invested in or leaned on any weight loss products such as pills, shakes, drink mixes, wraps, etc. In fact, I am a highly critical of the use of such products as they are everything I stand against; deceitful, dishonest, & gimmicky.

  • In employment with local gyms, I have had the pleasure of leading a multitude of group fitness classes including and involving strength, stability, and cardio. Offering instruction from warm-up to cool-down, corrections to keep members safe and guidance to ensure progress over time.

    Having found myself in a position of morbid obesity, I am empathetic and understanding of the challenges many people face in adopting a health-centered lifestyle, and what could potentially make or break ones dedication and desire.

    While my individual personal training instruction is newly available as a service, I have had the great pleasure in assisting colleagues, friends, and family achieve their goals with direct insight and guidance to their questions and curiosities, when asked.

  • Should you choose to invest in training with me, you can do so a few different ways (see below). Whichever way you choose, we will connect for an initial consultation (in person or online) to establish your goals, assess your current abilities, and develop a plan to achieve your goals.

    You will receive a welcome packet with basic questionnaires, waivers, and my personal commitments & expectations of our partnership.

    We will check-in (formally) weekly, to address challenges, celebrate successes, and ensure your enjoyment in your desired approach.

    Your initial commitment is set for 3 months to start (monthly payments) with flexible options to continue from there.

    Your options include

    1:1 Personal Training : I provide you with a monthly training and nutrition outline. You choose a package that includes 1-4 personal training sessions per week.

    Remote Coaching : Training and nutrition outline only. No 1-on-1 training included. 1-on-1 can be scheduled as an addition as needed.

    2:1 Training : Partnership or Buddy program. I provide you and a friend with a workout program intended to enrich and enhance your partnership, while progressing you both toward your goals.
